LEJOG/JOGLE

So I've been sponsored now and it actually looks like I'm going to have to go through with this. My CTC pack has arrived and the map I've put together here is a rough stab at a 12 day route. It suddenly looks quite daunting but has helped me focus on what needs to be done - namely some intensive training.

I've also encountered my first dilemma. I chose to cycle JOGLE (rather than LEJOG) for two reasons. I liked the idea of cycling away from rainy Scotland towards sunny Cornwall. Also, I rather misguidedly thought it was all downhill, which apparently it's not. What hadn't even crossed my mind was the 'prevailing westerly wind.' Should I choose to go LEJOG the wind will severely help my cause, and I will need all the help I can get.
