Today was a cracker. It pissed it down all morning as I followed the river Wye towards Heredord. A chinook rising from below me in the valley blew my socks off - I could see the whites of the crews eyes and the noise was deafening. I was also going to tell you about the fly that went up my nose on a fast downhill, but when I told Rosie she said it made her feel sick, so I won't.
A fine sunny afternoon and I made it all the way up Dinmore hill (A49) without walking - a marked improvement on last year. As I rolled down the other side I was more than chuffed to bump into Fiona (in the photo below), who lives nearby and had tracked me down on Latitude. We had a good chat and I headed off to the swishest B&B I've ever stayed in.
Big love to Gina, diBs, Hannah and of course Rosie who have done a sterling job pimping the cause on Facebook!
Also I've apparently fecked up the comments on the blog but don't let that stop you. Email is in a post below somewhere, and my mobile is 07five15916651.
